The Current State of Fitness Entrepreneurs

In the last sixteen months of my life, I Have changed something important about myself: I Have started being healthy.

A year and also a half ago, I was eating like crap, not working out, and generally feeling horrible. It turned out to be a life that is tough, and I realized instantly that I could not sustain a life. It was impossible. An enormous lifestyle shift was made by me, and I’m so happy I did. But it made me understand something about the current state of fitness entrepreneurs. And I need to shine a light on it.

Everybody defaults to what comes readily to them. That should be apparent. But greatness comes from difficulty; it comes from looking a challenge directly in the eye and having the fortitude to step up and go after it.

That is what’s going on with all the fitness wantrepreneur world right now.

Everybody is going to what is easy. And if they are serious about becoming a company individual that isn’t going to pan out. If I did not get healthy, just like I understood being an excellent business man would not pan out.

Still, expect a huge return but Fitness entrepreneurs need to do the minimal work. It’s simple for fitness entrepreneurs to do the push ups, to do the squats and deadlifts because that’s precisely what got them to where they are now. Fitness was started in by them and today they want to generate profits just by having those firearms or that body. They default into what is without comprehending what’s difficult: running an actual business, easy.

You know what was difficult for me personally? Waking up early. Not eating what I needed to eat. Powering through workouts. Yet it was simple to establish 50M dollar businesses.

I wanted to pass off getting up and running. I wanted to pass off lifting, squatting, extending. I used to not need to do it. But I had not a problem taking meeting after meeting, working eighteen hours a day, and setting in the authentic work.

Fitness “entrepreneurs” would like to pass on answering to tweets all day to get the word out. They wish to pass off the advertising. They wish to pass off doing a number of podcasts to get a larger audience or working difficult to produce a great interesting place. They want to go directly for the mirror selfie which means you may get a bunch of Instagram likes, then call that their “company”.

It’s not good enough.

I ‘ve sympathy for how long it can take for something to come together in a big way. I get thousands and tens of thousands of emails per year from individuals saying they aren’t seeing results and they’ve been working for months on something. It may be disheartening. In a weird way, working out has shown me that more than anything else. I’ve been working out for sixteen months now and I’m happy, but when you told me sixteen months past that this what I would have by now, I might say “Ehhhh…”

However, the reverse is far worse. That is why I say to you: simply start the work now. Do it. Work hard. Be diligent. Don’t let up. You’ve got the body. You might have the chops.
